PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor capable of suppressing protrusion in a radial direction thereby improving mount-ability to a vehicle.SOLUTION: A torque sensor 100 for detecting torque acting on an input shaft 3, based on magnetic change caused by relative angle displacement of the input shaft 3 and an output shaft 5 being rotatably supported in a housing 7, comprises: a detection part 50 for detecting magnetic change, through a penetration hole 73 which is formed by penetrating a radial side surface of the housing 7; a storage chamber 72 which is formed by projecting outward of the radial direction from an outer peripheral surface of the housing 7, the penetration hole 73 opens therein, and which stores the detection part 50; a communication hole 74 extending in a tangential direction to the outer periphery of the housing 7, and communicating outside of the housing 7 and inside of the storage chamber 72; and an output terminal 81 fitted and attached to the communication hole 74, connected to and inclined to the detection part 50 and outputting a signal based on the detection signal to outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
