PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling section line recognition device capable of improving accuracy in selecting a traveling section line to be recognized, when recognizing only a one-side traveling section line.SOLUTION: A traveling section line recognition device comprises: section line detection means 30 that detects right and left white lines on the basis of an image photographed by an on-vehicle camera 10; abnormality determination means 40 that determines whether or not a width of a road abnormally increases from the detected right and left white lines; and section line recognition means 50 that recognizes white lines or a white line by either of a both-side recognition mode 52 and a one-side recognition mode 51. The section line recognition means 50 recognizes a white line by the one-side recognition mode 51 when the abnormality determination means 40 determines that it is abnormal. The one-side recognition mode 51 calculates two or more parameters among each of groups of parameters showing a positional relationship of a vehicle 70 and parameters showing a shape of the white lines on the basis of each of the detected white lines, and selects the one-side white line to be recognized from the white lines on both right and left sides by integrating recognition results of the white lines using the calculated parameters.

    【課題】片側の走行区画線のみを認識する場合に、認識すべき走行区画線の選択精度を向上させることが可能な走行区画線認識装置を提供する。【解決手段】車載カメラ10により撮影された画像に基づいて、左右の白線を検出する区画線検出手段30と、検出された左右の白線から道路の幅の広がりが異常か否か判定する異常判定手段40と、両側認識モード52及び片側認識モード51のいずれかにより、白線を認識する区画線認識手段50と、を備える。区画線認識手段50は、異常判定手段40により異常と判定された場合に、片側認識モード51により白線を認識する。片側認識モード51は、検出された各白線に基づいて、車両70の位置関係を表すパラメータ、及び白線の形状を表すパラメータのうちの2つ以上のパラメータを算出し、算出したパラメータによる白線の認識結果を統合して、左右両側から認識する片側の白線を選択する。【選択図】 図1
