The present invention relates to a method for controlling a plurality of autonomous vehicles, wherein the method comprises the steps of determining an anomalous situation (2), defining a risk area (3) based on the determined anomalous situation (2), determining at least one involved vehicle (15) in the anomalous situation (2), calculating a risk coefficient of an initiating vehicle (11) and of the at least one involved vehicle (15), transmitting the calculated risk coefficient from the at least one involved vehicle (15) to the initiating vehicle (11), assigning a main vehicle (19), generating a plurality of candidate avoidance surfaces (5) of the main vehicle (19) and of the at least one involved vehicle (15), selecting an avoidance surface (5) of the main vehicle (19) and of the at least one involved vehicle (15), and transmitting to the at least one involved vehicle (15) the selected avoidance surface (5) of the at least one involved vehicle (15). Furthermore, the invention relates to a system for controlling a plurality of autonomous vehicles and to an autonomous vehicle comprising said system.
