The invention relates to an electric bicycle central motor securing assembly (60), comprising a bicycle frame (12) with a frame-side central motor receiving assembly (20) and an electric bicycle central motor drive unit (40) which is installed in the receiving assembly. The drive unit (40) has: a drive housing (46), a bottom bracket shaft (50) which passes through the drive housing (46) in the transverse direction, an output shaft (52) which is parallel to the bottom bracket shaft, and a substantially circular ring-shaped radial clamping ring (621, 622) which is paired with the drive housing (46) on at least one lateral side of the drive unit (40) and coaxially to the bottom bracket axis (50'), wherein the radial clamping ring (621, 622) has a circular outer clamping surface (64), and the receiving assembly (20) has: a clamping ring assembly (500) that is secured to the bicycle frame (12) on at least one lateral side and comprises a frame-side lateral wall (512, 514) standing substantially on a vertical plane and having an inner clamping surface (32), in which the corresponding outer clamping surface (64) of the drive-side radial clamping ring (621, 622) sits in a clamping manner, and at least one tangential tension element (540), by means of which the outer clamping surface (64) of the drive unit (40) is pushed radially into the inner clamping surface (32) of the lateral wall (514, 516).
