The invention provides a training method of a traffic situation prediction model, a traffic situation prediction method and equipment, and the training method comprises the steps: obtaining historical traffic state data of a target region in a historical time period according to a portal connection matrix and portal connection basic data, training a hybrid prediction model by using the traffic state average value and the traffic state differential learning value in each unit time period, which are provided with traffic situation tags, so as to determine the traffic state average value and the traffic state differential learning value in each unit time period; and training the hybrid prediction model into a traffic situation prediction model used for predicting the traffic situation of the target area in a unit time period in the future. According to the method and the device, the reliability and the effectiveness of the data used for training the traffic situation prediction model can be effectively improved, the accuracy and the reliability of a result of predicting the traffic situation by adopting the trained traffic situation prediction model can be effectively improved, and the automation degree and the intelligence degree of traffic situation prediction can be improved.
