The invention discloses a construction method of a crop disease and insect pest monitoring model. The construction method comprises the following steps: 1) carrying out unmanned aerial vehicle multi-view multispectral image data acquisition on a crop canopy; 2) preprocessing the collected multi-view multi-spectral image data of the unmanned aerial vehicle, wherein the preprocessing comprises image splicing, geometric correction, radiation correction and canopy extraction; 3) extracting a crop region by adopting a random forest algorithm; 4) for the crop area extracted in the step 3), based on the wavebands sensitive to crop diseases and insect pests, calculating spectral indexes sensitive to the diseases and insect pests by adopting a mode of different algebraic combinations; (5) evaluating the importance of each spectral index at different observation angles in the step (4) in disease and pest monitoring by adopting a random forest algorithm and utilizing an average decline Gini coefficient; 6) determining an optimal spectral index combination at different observation angles by adopting a forward selection algorithm; and 7) adopting a random forest algorithm to construct a crop disease and insect pest monitoring model.
