The embodiment of the invention provides an escalator running speed control method and system. The escalator running speed control system comprises at least two passenger detection devices and at least two forced low-speed signal devices. Passenger detection devices and forced low-speed signal devices are arranged at entrances and exits of the escalator; the signal output end of the passenger detection device and the signal output end of the forced low-speed signal device are both connected with the control device and used for inputting forced low-speed signals. The control device outputs at least two speed modes, the first speed mode is a combination of high speed and low speed, and the second speed mode is a combination of high speed, low speed and standby stopping. A passenger can change the speed of the elevator through the forced low-speed signal device, and then the passenger can be prevented from falling down.

    本申请实施例提供了一种扶梯运行速度控制方法以及系统,包括:至少两个乘客检测装置与至少两个强制慢速信号装置;扶梯出入口均设有乘客检测装置与强制慢速信号装置;乘客检测装置信号输出端与强制慢速信号装置信号输出端均与控制装置连接,用于输入强制慢速信号;控制装置输出至少两种速度模式,第一速度模式为快速与慢速的组合,第二速度模式为快速、慢速和停止待机的组合,本发明通过在扶梯出入口设置乘客检测装置与强制慢速信号装置,通过乘客检测装置检测乘客的乘坐情况,同时,乘客可以通过强制慢速信号装置使得电梯的速度发生变化,进而可以避免导致乘客摔倒。
