The invention discloses an escalator running state detection device, which comprises detected features and at least one sensor, wherein the detected features are structural features formed on a step chain of an escalator, and are components forming the step chain or additional components attached to the step chain; and the at least one sensor is arranged near the step chain, faces the detected features and is suitable for detecting the running speed of the step chain by detecting the detected features. The escalator running state detection device can detect the running speed of the step chainconveniently by directly detecting the detected characteristic on the step chain, and the cost of the detection device is reduced.

    本发明公开一种扶梯运行状态检测装置,包括:被检测特征,所述被检测特征为形成在扶梯的梯级链上的结构特征、为组成所述梯级链的部件或者为附接到所述梯级链上的附加部件;和至少一个传感器,设置在所述梯级链的附近并面对所述被检测特征,适于通过检测所述被检测特征来检测所述梯级链的运行速度。在本发明中,可以通过直接检测梯级链上的被检测特征方便地检测出梯级链的运行速度,降低了检测装置的成本。
