The invention discloses a shipbuilding portal crane adopting a mass damper. The shipbuilding portal crane adopting the mass damper comprises a mass block, elastic assemblies and a rack, the mass block is arranged in the center of the rack through the elastic assemblies, and the elastic assemblies comprise the first elastic assembly, the second elastic assembly, the third elastic assembly, the fourth elastic assembly, the fifth elastic assembly and the sixth elastic assembly. The first elastic assembly, the second elastic assembly, the third elastic assembly, the fourth elastic assembly, the fifth elastic assembly and the sixth elastic assembly are all arranged between the mass block and the rack. The shipbuilding portal crane adopting the mass damper is simple in overall structure and low in manufacturing cost, vibration of the whole crane is effectively reduced, meanwhile, center-of-gravity shift of the whole crane is reduced, the overhaul frequency is reduced, and therefore the use cost is greatly reduced.
