A collision avoidance device (100) is provided with: a radar device (14) that detects a three-dimensional object (74) approaching from the front side of a host vehicle (102) toward the front of the host vehicle; and a control device (10) that, when it is determined that there is a possibility of collision between the own vehicle and the three-dimensional object (S90), executes collision avoidance support control (S110) that reduces the possibility of collision between the own vehicle and the three-dimensional object. The control device suppresses execution of collision avoidance support control (S80, S100) when it is determined that the three-dimensional objects are moving body groups arrayed in a number equal to or greater than a reference value (S30-S50), and it is determined that there is no rail for rail vehicles (S70) in front of the own vehicle, said rail crossing the level of a road (80) on which the own vehicle travels.
