The invention relates to a large-tonnage high-lift double-winding-drum hoisting mechanism which comprises a driving assembly, a single-linkage double-layer winding drum set, a steel wire rope, a fixed pulley set, a balance pulley set and a hook pulley set. The single-linkage double-layer winding drum sets are coaxially arranged in a bilateral symmetry mode. The driving assemblies are correspondingly connected to the outer ends of the single-linkage double-layer winding drum sets respectively. The lifting hook pulley block is arranged below the space between the single-linkage double-layer winding drum groups on the two sides; the fixed pulley sets are correspondingly arranged in front of the inner ends of the single-linkage double-layer winding drum sets on the two sides respectively. The balance pulley blocks are correspondingly arranged in front of the outer ends of the fixed pulley blocks on the two sides respectively. An upper-layer steel wire rope and a lower-layer steel wire rope on the single-linkage double-layer winding drum group are simultaneously wound and unwound, the wound and unwound steel wire ropes are sequentially wound through a movable pulley and a fixed pulley block on a hook pulley block, and the tail ends of the steel wire ropes are hung and wound on a balance pulley. The lifting mechanism is high in reliability, simple in structure, large in lifting weight and stroke, small in occupied space and capable of achieving overall light weight.
