The invention relates to a hydro-pneumatic spring surface treatment method which comprises the following steps: pre-treating the surface of a hydro-pneumatic spring to remove grease and moisture on the surface; coating the primer on the surface of the hydro-pneumatic spring, and carrying out flash-drying treatment; the surface, away from the hydro-pneumatic spring, of the primer subjected to flash-drying treatment is coated with finish paint, drying treatment is conducted, and a primer paint layer and a finish paint layer which are sequentially arranged on the outer surface of the hydro-pneumatic spring are obtained; the primer comprises epoxy resin, zinc powder, a curing agent, a solvent and the like. A paint layer formed on the surface of the hydro-pneumatic spring through the technology is good in binding force, not prone to falling off, good in service effect and capable of achieving a good protection effect. The invention further provides the hydro-pneumatic spring, the automobile suspension structure and application, and due to the fact that the hydro-pneumatic spring has longer service time and more stable working conditions, the operation stability and application of the automobile suspension structure can be better improved.
