The invention relates to a hydro-pneumatic spring assembly of a suspension retractable wheel. The hydro-pneumatic spring assembly comprises a piston rod assembly, a cylinder barrel assembly and an oil control assembly, the piston rod assembly is connected with the cylinder barrel assembly in a sliding mode, and the piston rod assembly divides the interior of the cylinder barrel assembly into a rod cavity and a rodless cavity which are not communicated with each other. The oil control assembly is provided with a damping part and an oil control part, the damping part is communicated with the rod cavity or the rodless cavity, so that the piston rod assembly can vibrate at the current position, the oil control part is communicated with the rod cavity and the rodless cavity, and the oil control part can convey, absorb or seal oil in the rod cavity and the rodless cavity. The piston rod assembly is used for driving the piston rod assembly to slide relative to the cylinder barrel assembly and to be locked to any position; the problems that an existing hydro-pneumatic spring is small in stroke, can only meet the requirement for running wheel jumping of land vehicles and cannot meet the requirement for the height of suspension overturning wheel retracting and releasing are solved.
