The invention provides an automatic driving method based on double high-precision maps, and belongs to the field of automatic driving. Comprising the following steps of periodically collecting current coordinates of a vehicle and current surrounding environment information of the vehicle; judging whether first high-precision map data and second high-precision map data in front of the current coordinate can be obtained or not according to the current coordinate; after determining that the first high-precision map data and the second high-precision map data can be obtained at the same time, performing differential fusion on the first high-precision map data and the second high-precision map data to obtain fused map data; planning a vehicle automatic driving strategy according to the fused map data; and controlling the vehicle to run according to the automatic driving strategy. According to the method, the automatic driving strategy of the vehicle is planned through two different high-precision maps, and the problems that in the prior art, the data coverage range of a single high-precision map is often not enough, part of roads are not covered, and an automatic driving system cannot be started are solved.

    本发明提供了一种基于双高精地图的自动驾驶方法,属于自动驾驶领域。包括如下步骤:周期性地采集车辆的当前坐标以及车辆的当前周边环境信息;根据当前坐标判断能否获取到当前坐标前方的第一高精度地图数据和第二高精度地图数据;在确定能同时获取到第一高精地图数据和第二高精地图数据后,将第一高精地图数据和第二高精地图数据进行差分融合,得到融合地图数据;根据融合地图数据规划车辆自动驾驶策略;按照自动驾驶策略控制车辆行驶。本发明通过两种不同的高精地图来规划车辆自动驾驶策略,解决了现有技术中单高精地图经常会出现数据覆盖范围不够,部分道路没有覆盖,无法启动自动驾驶系统的问题。
