The walking mechanism of the underwater vehicle comprises a rack, a front axle and a rear axle, the front axle comprises two driving half axles, and the rear axle comprises two driven half axles; the rack comprises a longitudinal beam, the two driving half bridges are arranged on the two sides of the front portion of the longitudinal beam, and the two driven half bridges are arranged on the two sides of the rear portion of the longitudinal beam. Each driving half-bridge comprises a driving wheel, and the axes of the driving wheels of the two driving half-bridges are located on the same plane. The included angle between the plane and the axis of the longitudinal beam ranges from 45 degrees to 75 degrees, the included angle between the axes of the two driving wheels is smaller than 180 degrees, and an opening of the included angle between the axes of the two driving wheels faces downwards. The walking mechanism is suitable for walking on an underwater surface with edges or a small cylindrical surface in an attached mode.
