The invention relates to the technical field of automobile suspension systems, and discloses a hybrid electric vehicle energy feedback suspension system and a working method thereof. The energy feedback suspension system of the hybrid electric vehicle comprises a vehicle speed module, a road surface unevenness module, a driver command module, an optimization controller, an energy management module, a power system module, a battery pack, an energy feedback suspension and an acceleration hybrid controller. The optimization controller receives vehicle speed, pavement grade and control mode information selected by a driver of the vehicle speed module, the pavement unevenness module and the driver command module, obtains suspension energy regeneration power, inputs the suspension energy regeneration power to the energy management module, and obtains a mixing coefficient S of the acceleration mixing controller; and the energy management module receives the suspension energy regeneration power. The vertical vibration acceleration of the vehicle, the dynamic deflection of the suspension and the dynamic load performance of the wheel can be improved while the comfort is met, and the energy recovery rate can be improved during energy feedback.
