The invention provides a cooling device of a power battery, and relates to the technical field of power batteries, the cooling device comprises a fire-fighting gas supply device, a cooling gas pipe and a plurality of battery modules, the fire-fighting gas supply device generates gas capable of being used for fire fighting, and the cooling gas pipe is communicated with the fire-fighting gas supply device; the plurality of battery modules are composed of a plurality of battery cells, each battery cell is located below the cooling air pipe, the cooling air pipe is provided with a plurality of air holes, air holes are formed above each battery cell, and each air hole is blocked by a hot melting material. And by utilizing the dual effects that the strength of the hot melting material is reduced after being heated and the fire-fighting gas supply device generates gas impact for fire fighting, the air holes are quickly opened to realize accurate cooling of the battery cell.
