The invention provides a cooling device of a power battery and a control method, and relates to the technical field of power batteries, the cooling device comprises a vehicle-mounted air-conditioning refrigeration system, a fire-fighting gas supply device and a cooling pipeline, the vehicle-mounted air-conditioning refrigeration system comprises an air-conditioning compressor and a control valve; the fire-fighting gas supply device generates gas capable of being used for fire fighting; the cooling pipeline is provided with a first inlet and a second inlet, the first inlet communicates with the fire-fighting gas supply device, and the second inlet communicates with the air conditioner compressor through a control valve; the plurality of battery modules consist of a plurality of battery cells, each battery cell is positioned below the cooling pipeline, and the cooling pipeline above each battery cell is provided with a sealed air hole. The liquid-phase refrigerant is provided by the vehicle-mounted air-conditioning refrigeration system and is matched with the fire-fighting gas to cool the battery cell, so that the overall weight of the vehicle is not increased, the space of the vehicle body is not extruded, and meanwhile, the cooling efficiency of the battery cell can be improved.

    本发明提供一种动力电池的冷却装置及控制方法,涉及动力电池技术领域,该冷却装置包括车载空调制冷系统、消防气体供给装置、冷却管道,车载空调制冷系统包括空调压缩机和控制阀;消防气体供给装置产生能够用于消防的气体;冷却管道具有第一入口和第二入口,第一入口与消防气体供给装置连通,第二入口与空调压缩机通过控制阀连通;多个电池模组由多个电芯组成,各电芯均位于冷却管道的下方,各电芯上方的冷却管道具有密封的气孔。利用车载空调制冷系统提供液相制冷剂,配合消防气体对电芯进行降温冷却,即不会增加车辆整体的重量,挤压车身空间,同时还能够提升电芯的降温冷却的效率。
