The invention provides a sea wave monitoring method for an offshore wind plant, which comprises the following steps of: 1, acquiring the impact force of sea level sea waves on a unit tower through a first monitoring mechanism to obtain first sea wave impact force data; step 2, collecting the impact force between the splashed sea waves and the seawater undercurrent through a second monitoring mechanism to obtain second sea wave impact force data; and 3, receiving the first sea wave impact force data and the second sea wave impact force data through the controller, and comparing the first sea wave impact force data and the second sea wave impact force data with set values through the controller. According to the invention, the impact of sea waves on the sea level on the wind turbine generator can be rapidly monitored, so that the monitoring effect is enhanced.
