The embodiment of the invention provides a software-defined satellite-oriented attitude control method and system, and the system comprises an attitude controller which comprises a flywheel and a magnetic torquer and is configured to execute an attitude control instruction; the attitude sensor comprises a star sensor, a sun sensor and an inertial sensor IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and is configured to measure the current attitude of the satellite to obtain current attitude data; the operating system is configured to call the attitude sensor and the attitude controller; the service container is used for building a running environment based on the operating system; and the attitude meta service integration module runs in the server container to realize various meta services, and each meta service comprises an attitude planning module used for realizing autonomous intelligent planning of the expected attitude of the satellite. According to the architecture of the attitude control system for the software-defined satellite, only modules (such as an attitude determination service module, an attitude planning module and the like) corresponding to related meta-services need to be developed, deployed or updated in orbit.
