The invention discloses a multi-sensor fusion mapping robot and a data fusion method. The robot comprises a wide-body crawler chassis, a radar lifting platform, a sensor system and a power module. The sensor system comprises a first sensing device and a second sensing device, the power module is used for supplying power, and the wide-body crawler chassis provides power through the power source to drive the whole robot to move. The radar lifting platform mounted on the wide-body crawler chassis is used for driving the first sensing device to move up and down; and the second sensing device is mounted on the wide-body crawler chassis. The multi-sensor fusion method comprises the following steps: performing time synchronization and space synchronization on the laser radar and the depth camera; and fusing the data of the laser radar and the depth camera.
