The invention relates to a self-propelled underwater detection lander device which comprises a frame structure, a sealed cabin is arranged on the frame structure, a control box is arranged in the sealed cabin, the control box is in wireless communication connection with a remote controller, a propeller electrically connected with the control box is arranged on one side of the frame structure, and a variable buoyancy structure is arranged on the sealed cabin. The variable buoyancy structure is in control connection with the control box, and a load rejection structure is arranged at the bottom of the sealed cabin. The unmanned aerial vehicle can complete laying and recovery without a mother ship, can realize underwater autonomous navigation, can submerge to the water bottom through a variable buoyancy structure after navigating to a specified position on the water surface during laying, and floats up by virtue of the buoyancy of the unmanned aerial vehicle during recovery, and has great economic popularization value.
