The processor is configured to: execute an area setting process that is a process of setting an auxiliary determination area indicating a specific area in front of the vehicle; executing an accumulation process for applying a determination value determined according to the position of an object to the object located in the auxiliary determination region and accumulating the determination value; and a collision avoidance assistance control unit that performs collision avoidance assistance control for assisting collision avoidance between the vehicle and the object on the basis of driving environment information indicating the driving environment of the vehicle when the integrated value for the object calculated by the integration processing exceeds a predetermined threshold value.
