The invention relates to the technical field of automobile travel, in particular to an automatic lane changing method and device of a vehicle, the vehicle and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps that when a lane changing request of the vehicle is recognized, environment information around the vehicle is acquired; the actual position of at least one target around the vehicle is identified according to the environment information, and the periphery of the vehicle is divided into at least one sub-area according to the actual position of each target; based on the position relation between each sub-area and the vehicle, the safety level and the passing efficiency level of lane changing of the vehicle are matched, and when the safety level and the passing efficiency level are both larger than the preset danger level, it is judged that the vehicle meets the lane changing condition, and the vehicle is controlled to execute the preset lane changing action so as to change the lane to the target lane. Therefore, the problems that in the related technology, an automatic lane changing function of a vehicle cannot accurately judge the information of the environment around the vehicle, the safety of a user and the passing efficiency of the vehicle cannot be guaranteed, and the vehicle using experience of the user is reduced are solved.
