The invention discloses an intelligent tower crane which comprises a hoisting tower arm, a sensing assembly and a lifting hook, the sensing assembly is arranged on the hoisting tower arm and comprises a processing module, and a sensor, a power supply and a motor which are connected with the processing module; the lifting hook is connected with the hoisting tower arm and comprises a hook, a pulley connected with the hook and a rotating piece arranged on the pulley; the processing module is arranged in the pulley, analyzes the information collected by the sensor and controls the rotation of the motor; the sensor is used for collecting the stress direction and the stress size of the lifting hook and sending data to the processing module; according to the intelligent tower crane, the stress direction and size of the hook can be obtained through stress analysis when a heavy object is hoisted, the motor is started through the processing module to control the direction of the hook, a stress arm is automatically parallel to a tension arm, and deformation damage of the hook is reduced.
