The vehicle control method comprises the steps of obtaining a driving mode conversion probability for a barrier vehicle based on historical driving data and first current sensing data; in response to determining that the driving mode conversion probability is smaller than the preset probability, processing the second current sensing data to obtain a driving mode conversion result for the obstacle vehicle; and in response to determining that the driving mode conversion result represents that the obstacle vehicle is to convert the driving mode, controlling a driving state of the target vehicle relative to the obstacle vehicle.
