The invention discloses a method for judging an elevator reverse taking behavior of a passenger. The method comprises the steps that S1, running direction information of an elevator and passenger information are obtained; s2, a first floor of the elevator is determined according to the running direction information; s3, the passenger information is analyzed, whether all passengers in the elevator car leave the elevator car or not when the elevator stops on the first floor is judged, if yes, the step S4 is executed, and if not, the process is ended; s4, judging that a first judgment condition in the reverse elevator taking judgment conditions is true; and S5, judging whether all the judgment conditions in the reverse elevator taking judgment conditions are true or not, if so, ending the operation when the judgment result is that the reverse elevator taking behavior of the passenger exists, otherwise, ending the operation when the judgment result is that the reverse elevator taking behavior of the passenger does not exist. The judgment method can simply and accurately judge whether the behavior of'reverse riding 'of the passenger exists or not. The invention further discloses an elevator control method.
