The invention relates to the technical field of electronic information, and particularly relates to a railway vehicle power battery system charging loop which comprises two clusters of battery boxes. A charging loop electrical system is arranged in the two clusters of battery boxes, and a battery management system is arranged on the charging loop electrical system. The charging loop electrical system is provided with a safety interlocking protection circuit for two-way direct current charging interfaces on the two sides of the two clusters of battery boxes. A high-voltage box is included and is mounted on the two clusters of battery boxes so that high-voltage and low-voltage automatic control of charging is realized; and a display screen controller is included too. The purpose of improving the charging safety of the power battery is achieved, the safety interlocking protection circuit is matched, charging safety can be ensured, single-side charging on any side is supported, simultaneous charging on the left side and the right side is not supported, the risk that relay contacts are adhered when a relay is abnormally cut off in a large-current state can be avoided, and meanwhile, the charging heating loop meets the low-temperature large-current direct-current charging requirement.
