The invention provides a full-automatic train operation method during ATO (automatic train operation) equipment failure, which comprises the following steps that: in response to the failure of vehicle-mounted ATO equipment detected by vehicle-mounted ATP equipment, the vehicle-mounted ATP equipment controls a train to stop emergently and reports failure information to a remote control center; after emergency stop of the train is completed, the vehicle-mounted ATP equipment sends a request for entering a limited automatic driving RAM mode to the control center; in response to the received authorization of entering the RAM mode of the control center, the vehicle-mounted ATP equipment sends an instruction of entering the RAM mode and an instruction of starting an RAM train to a train control and management system (TCMS) of the train; and in response to the received command of entering the RAM mode and the command of starting the RAM train, the TCMS controls the train to advance to a preset RAM mode parking point of the next station of the current operation interval of the train.
