The invention discloses a braking device suitable for a new energy automobile. The braking device comprises a rim body (23), a parking motor (2), a steering knuckle (21), a bearing (4), a mounting disc (22), an annular piston (19) and a screw rod (20), the parking motor (2) is mounted on the upper surface of the steering knuckle (21), the screw rod (20) is mounted on a driving shaft of the parking motor (2), the bearing (4) is mounted on the surface of the steering knuckle (21), the mounting disc (22) is mounted on the surface of the bearing (4), a rim body (23) is installed on the surface of the mounting disc (22) through a first screw (7) and a first nut (6), the annular piston (19) is installed in a cavity of the steering knuckle (21), a first lifting lug (2103), a second lifting lug (2102) and a third lifting lug (2101) on the surface of the steering knuckle (21) are connected with an upper supporting arm ball head, a lower supporting arm ball head and a direction connecting pull rod ball head of a vehicle respectively, and a vehicle hub is installed on the surface of a stud (14). The device has the advantage of being simple in structure.
