The invention discloses a liquid hydrogen cold energy utilization method applied to a refrigerator car and belongs to the technical field of liquid hydrogen application and refrigeration. Equipment adopted in the method comprises a fuel cell hydrogen supply system and a cooling and refrigerating system, wherein the fuel cell hydrogen supply system vaporizes and heats liquid hydrogen to reach the corresponding temperature and then supplies the liquid hydrogen to a fuel cell, and the cooling and refrigerating system exchanges heat with the liquid hydrogen in the fuel cell hydrogen supply system step by step and transmits cold energy; and finally, the cold energy is released into the refrigerator car carriage. The method is advantaged in that cold energy of the liquid hydrogen serving as the fuel of the refrigerator car can be fully utilized, and refrigeration cost of the refrigerator car is reduced.
