The automatic docking device mainly structurally comprises an automatic docking device body and a mounting mechanism, wherein the automatic docking device body is divided into a male head device and a female head device, is designed to be of a funnel-shaped structure, and is large in docking area and oriented and stable in docking, the mounting mechanism mainly comprises a connecting cone and a rotating ball, a male head docking device and a female head docking device are fixed in the two directions of the rotating ball respectively and welded to the cone together, and the cone is horizontally welded and fixed to the periphery of an unmanned ship body. According to the control method of the docking device, remote control over the unmanned ship end by the shore end can be achieved, the control center of the unmanned ship end transmits the docking instruction to the docking device, and after the docking device receives the docking instruction, automatic docking is achieved according to the docking control process.
