The invention discloses an inertia type vehicle brake anti-lock device and method. The device comprises a storage battery, an ECU, an anti-lock adjuster, a brake adjusting assembly and a brake. The anti-lock regulator senses vehicle deceleration data and regulates a braking time interval; the brake carries out braking through the brake adjusting assembly; the ECU is connected with the anti-lock regulator; the anti-lock regulator comprises electrical ground, a conductor pointer, a ball bearing, a light rod, an electromagnet, a heavy object and a rheostat; the conductor pointer, the ball bearingand the heavy object are connected through the light rod and are positioned on the same straight line; the ECU controls the working state of the anti-lock regulator by changing a resistance value ofthe rheostat; the brake adjusting assembly comprises a brake pedal switch, a coil, a spring, a pull rod, a hydraulic cylinder and a piston; and the spring is located on the pull rod; one end of the pull rod is connected with the piston, and the pull rod drives the piston to move under the action of attraction of the coil. Based on an inertia principle, efficiency of the brake is exerted to the maximum extent under emergency braking, and an accident rate is reduced.
