The invention relates to the technical field of construction machinery, in particular to a movable underframe for a guide rail climbing type work platform. The movable underframe comprises an underframe body, wheel assemblies, underframe supporting assemblies and supporting leg assemblies, wherein the wheel assemblies are rotatably arranged on the underframe body, the underframe supporting assemblies are arranged on the underframe body and support the underframe body off the ground, the supporting leg assemblies are hinged with the underframe body, and the supporting leg assemblies are configured to support the underframe body when the underframe body is detached from the ground, and meanwhile keep the underframe body horizontal. The movable underframe can be moved, so that the position ofthe guide rail climbing type working platform can be conveniently adjusted in the later period; and moreover, the underframe does not need to be disassembled during transportation, so that manpower and material resources are saved.
