The invention belongs to the technical field of power, and particularly relates to a vehicle-mounted wind energy power generation system of an electric vehicle and a method for improving energy power generation efficiency. The technical problems of unreasonable design and the like in the prior art are solved. According to the vehicle-mounted wind energy power generation system of the electric vehicle, the electric vehicle comprises a vehicle body and a storage battery arranged on the vehicle body, and the storage battery is connected with a driving shaft electric motor; the wind energy power generation system comprises at least one roller wind wheel which is arranged in the width direction of the vehicle body and rotatably connected with the vehicle body, and an electric generator connected with a driving shaft electric motor and/or the storage battery is connected with the roller wind wheels; and the front end of the vehicle body is provided with an air guide inclined face inclined backwards and upwards; and the roller wind wheel is located behind the top side of the air guide inclined surface, and on the horizontal plane, the axis of the roller wind wheels is not higher than the top side of the air guide inclined face. The method for improving the energy power generation efficiency has the beneficial effects of improving the power generation efficiency and being small in wind resistance.
