The invention discloses a crane braking energy storage mechanism which comprises a transmission device, a reversing device and an energy storage device. The transmission device is connected with a crane drive gear and the reversing device. The reversing device is connected with the transmission device and the energy storage device. By means of the crane braking energy storage mechanism, part of kinetic energy generated in the braking process is converted to spring potential energy, the spring potential energy is converted into the crane kinetic energy when the mechanism is started again, and energy is saved, and the crane braking energy storage mechanism is simple in structure, convenient to maintain and reliable in action.
