The invention provides an underbody collision prevention device for an automobile. The device is powered on through an automobile power supply and comprises an automobile speed sensor, an underbody distance measuring instrument, a control unit, a voice warning device and an ABS. An input interface of the control unit is connected with the underbody distance measuring instrument and the automobile speed sensor, an output interface of the control unit is connected with the voice warning device and the ABS, the control units judges whether collision dangers exist under the automobile according to data, received from the underbody distance measuring instrument, of the distance between the bottom of the automobile and barriers and according to automobile speed received from the automobile speed sensor, if the dangers exist, the control unit sends signals to control the voice warning device to remind a driver of the automobile, and if the driver does not take measures in time, the control unit sends signals to control the ABS for forced brake. The underbody collision prevention device is simple in structure, high in practicality and capable of effectively achieving pre-warning and protecting functions.
