Study of brake performance includes brake system, device, characteristics, retardation and braking distance, adhesion limit and skid prevention and electrodynamic brake performance; materials adopted in prototype cars were Ni-Cr-Mo cast iron and Cr-Mo cast iron for brake disk, and copper-family sintered alloy for brake lining.
