This chapter describes a dynamic formation of infrastructure‐less vehicular clouds (VC). In Cloud‐enabled Vehicle Data Named Networks, privacy is ensured by mutual authentication using anonymous certificates between the vehicle managing the cloud and the joining members, and also when providing and/or using services which are addressed by their name and geo‐location. The chapter explains how the temporal identities of the vehicle members of the cloud are changed securely and synchronously to preserve privacy, alongside the use of location obfuscation to protect location privacy. It also explains background concepts, such as VC and vehicular named data networks. The chapter also describes the Cloud‐enabled Vehicle Data Named system. Moreover, it explains the anonymous authentication process and privacy preservation scheme along with its analysis. The local virtual machine (VM) may either be used to update the central VM, merge with it or directly import it depending on the user's choices and needs.
