With the rapid growth of the world's population and the rapid increase in the number of motor vehicles, various urban traffic problems such as traffic congestion and inconvenience have also emerged. Drawing lessons from domestic and foreign urban transportation development experience, persisting in the development of the public transportation system, some problems can be solved by improving passenger satisfaction with public transportation. Based on the departure time as the decision variable, this paper proposes a bus departure scheduling model with the minimum overall operating cost and passenger travel cost as the goal, so as to optimize the line planning operation and increase the use of public transportation resources. Based on the analysis of Baoding City passenger transportation center, the validity and practicability of the model for bus dispatch are verified, and the results show that the new bus dispatch scheme can effectively reduce the total cost of passenger travel and the operating cost of bus companies, and improve the efficiency of both passengers and passenger terminals.
