Several papers have already been published detailing civil aspects of this major project. It is, therefore, appropriate that as the electrical and mechanical (E & M) works have now entered the installation phase, their make up, content and delivery should be documented. The Jubilee Line Extension (JLE) Project is currently the largest construction project in Europe. This paper outlines the electrical and mechanical systems being installed and goes on to describe the key co-ordination and planning tools being utilised to ensure the installations are harmonised with civil construction, leading to completion on time.
