This paper represents information developed by Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. in conjunction with Cincinnati Milacron (CM) and Automated Dynamics Corporation (ADC) as Team 1, a subteam of the GLCC Advanced In Situ Fiber Placement (ISFP) Team, under the Navy-funded Center of Excellence in Composites Manufacturing/GLCC program entitled 'Advanced In Situ Fiber Placement.' This paper describes the manufacturing technology development conducted to develop the fiber placement process methods for fiber-placed staged IM7/8552.
