A method to deal with the shortcomings of traditional technologies is proposed. Based on theory of electromagnetic field, the characteristic of microwave which transmits under the ground is studied. The analysis shows that microwave can be used to detect the underground object within frequency 50MHz-500MHz. At last, the principle that use the microwave image technology to detect underground object is put forward.
