The methods used to quantify properties through the analysis of openhole logs are described. Through integrating log analysis with production evaluation allow analysts to interpret in-situ formation permeability from conventional openhole logs. The three formations presented are: the Mesaverde group of the Piceane Basin, the Frontier formation of the Moxa Arch and the Green River formation in the Uinta Basin.
