The influence of the grain size of solution-hardened ferritic steel on the high speed deformation behavior of steel sheets, and the influence of the type and composition ratio of the secondary phase microstructure in steels with a compound microstructure are studied. A high-speed crushing test and deformation behavior analysis by finite element method simulation are also conducted using samples with a hat-shaped cross-section as models of impact-resistant members. The results obtained in these studies are presented in detail.
