FRP offer a wide range of development potential due to their different properties concerning their structural behavior and manufacturing methods. Both experimental testing and structural analysis show new possibilities and solutions in the use of FRP in advanced crashworthiness applications. The main steps in the research of advanced composite applications composite focusing both on testing and finite element analysis of composite components are discussed.
