Described is a simple, newly devised structure for a high-pressure sensor, the pressure detection part of which is filled with oil. A new approach to preventing oil leakage enables resin to be used instead of the metal and glass required in conventional designs. The sensor has the ability to withstand pressures as high as 38 MPa.
