Numerical design tools improve the understanding of the reliability and integrity of deep water mooring systems. These numerical design tools are validated by a computer program based on the fully integrated dynamics of turret moored F(P)SO systems developed and applied to deep water. The computer program optimizes the system and enhances the safety of design by applying numerous combinations of extreme weather conditions.
