The german enterprise Innomess (Marl) developed different types of on-line inspection system for detecting glass defects and maintaining the quality of automotive glass. Following appropiate inspection systems belong to the inspection technologies: On-line Moire-Technology (Screenscan-faultfinder measuring system with the ability to find out defects in less than three seconds; Screenscann cross-curvature system for scanning the cross-curvature in one or three profiles of bent screens; Screenscann-quality information system for the analysis of quality signals and production generated data). An optical inspection method has been dveloped by Innomess, the so-called Formscan measuring system for measuring reflected distortion, undulation, radius and the form of glass. The optical inspection method is able to scan any type of windscreens.
