A super-large floating structure (mega-float) has been developed to realize the construction of pontoon-type marine airports. In this paper, a modeling method based on the 2d-shell-model for pontoon structures is proposed. The effect of fluid mass is considered in the vibration analysis. FEM results and experimental results are compared. Vibration simulations, as an aircraft lands on a mega-float airport, were carried out. The method proved to be useful for the design of real-size pontoon structures.
